I am calling them 'housekeeping' because they aren't CMs at SOG.
Anyway, I still made up envelopes to put their tip in each day. I just used stickers and printed on them with my computer...each day was different. I put the tip in them prior to leaving for our vacation.
One day housekeeping was still in our room when we arrived back. The lady was very nice, and asked, "who made those envelopes?" DD12 said that I did, and she told us all that she keeps each one of them at home and has shown lots of people.
Just wanted to let people here know that the little extras can be appreciated as much as the $$$. I know that was a big debate before.

Great idea! Do you mind sharing how much you tipped at SOG? Last time we were there, I left a tip each day but I wasn't sure what a good amount would be. I'd be curious to know what others tip there.
Thanks!

That's nice to know. Where is that web site again?

That's so sweet!

I always decorate mine w/leftover disney scrapbooking stickers I have. When we stayed at CBR, the mousekeepers used the stickers to make faces on the towel animals they left. CBR has the best mousekeepers ever!

We left $3 a day. Technically we should have probably left $4 - but I have to say that I am a total neat freak, and we were very, very clean. So, since she had minimal work, I thought $3 was good.

We did have to call once for housekeeping - we wanted to nap and they weren't at our room yet. We asked and they said to call for late service (anything after 5pm). We did, and came back to a totally clean room and a phone message asking if we found everything to be in acceptable order.

Oh yeah...We even got some towel 'art!' They weren't animals - but they made these cool things out of washcloths to hold our toothbrushes. One was kind of like a peacock and the other was just abstract kind of folding, also with our toothbrushes tucked in.

Ohhhhh I want to go back!
