On an upcoming May trip, we're celebrating a birthday. The plan is to hit all four parks in one day. It will be a Saturday. Starting at Kona Cafe for breakfast (park in the MK lot and walk to the Poly from the TTC). Take the monorail to the MK. See the paint job on the castle and get a birthday button. Look for a Pooh photo op. Monorail back to the TTC and take the monorail to EPCOT. This has always been a favorite ride.
Spin through future world and check out the flower and garden show exhibits. Out through the International Gateway and lunch at either ESPN or Beaches and Cream. Back out the front of EPCOT. Monorail back to the TTC. Get the car and go over to the Animal Kingdom. We want to see the 4:00 parade. Maybe catch a late Safari.
We want to end with Fantasmic. We've never eaten at any of the sitdown restaurants at MGM. I'd like to find a nice dessert. The Brown Derby looks fancy.
What do you think? It will be a long day, but it's the first full day of a weeklong trip. We're Disney veterans (two trips a year for the last ten or so).
QUESTIONS:
1. Can we get dessert to go at the sitdown restaurants?
2. Any dessert recommendations? Any opinions on the grapefruit cake at The Brown Derby?
