Commander's Terrace

Question Please ...

I'm kicking around ideas in my head.... and I'm wondering if any Wishes brides that had smaller guest counts (like 15/20) ever used Commander's Terrace for their Cake Cutting before going to the reception. This may seem silly, but I really want outside pictures with Mickey and Minnie there for the cake cutting. I've almost decided to switch to Escape because of this, but it doesn't make sense since we don't need the violinist or the photographer. It doesn't even come out cheaper with our add ons. Since we're probably only inviting family now, everyone will need to be around for pictures anyway so think of it as a "sweet" pre-reception.

Is this even possible??

A few months ago a Wishes bride looked into having her reception there and was told it wasn't an option. But it never hurts to ask because policies change all the time.

If your reception is at the GF somewhere nearby, could you just walk over there with Mickey and Minnie for pix? Like how Tiggerificheidi took outside pix with her mice during her Narcoossee's reception?

Our reception is in the Napa Room--but maybe we can figure something out. For some reason I'm stuck on outside pictures with them I feel like if they came into the Napa Room that it would be like a character meal/meet and greet (we're not having dancing). Maybe I should put more thought into this on a day when I'm not on sudafed and antibiotics.

I'm pretty sure I've seen pictures where Mickey and Minnie go out on the balcony with the Bride and Groom for pictures at the Cali Grill...so I think it is possible to get outside pictures with them there!

I'm on a mission to track down these pictures!
