Commanders Terrace Escape Wedding

Hello all, I'm new to here!

Now the DVC villas is complete is Commanders Terrace in use again?

Do we pay for tables, chairs, linens etc for Commanders Terrace?

Also, Does anybody know if the cake reception can be at Sago Cay pointe?

The escape package is very limited, and only customizable within specific guidelines they already provide. They do have a terrace at the wilderness lodge option.. The only current options available are what's listed on the website.

Supposedly, though it no longer has that gorgeous view. It seems like they're still doing a lot of Escape receptions at the GF convention center, though.

No, they are included in the fee.

Also, Does anybody know if the cake reception can be at Sago Cay pointe?

It never hurts to ask, but I've never seen them allow it.

I’d love to see an updated photograph of Commander’s Terrace.
I'm not sure if I like the idea of being in a sectioned off in a small meeting room

It will be a very small wedding with immediate family members.
We don’t want a first dance at WDW (We are having a reception when in the UK)

It would be nice to have better alternatives for Escape Weddings.
It’s a shame you can’t choose better locations. (I love the idea of Sago Cay Pointe or Marina Patio )

As we are not having a reception (Meal or dessert Party) We really want the cake cutting reception as magical as possible!

Having the cake reception at Wilderness Lodge Sunrise Terrace would be amazing (Definitely would be my first choice!)
Wilderness Lodge is my favourite resort too…Especially during the holidays!
However, It seems like it is only used for Escape wedding’s when you have both Ceremony and cake cutting reception there.
I wonder if it is available, they could allow me to go there after my ceremony at the wedding pavilion for my cake cutting reception?
