Ok guys. I'm sure I could search endlessly for this, but I know I can count on you guys to help me out.

Spending 4 days at Disneyland Resort Mon - Thurs following Thanksgiving and staying at the Grand Californian.

I know last time we went to Disney World in FL, 180 days out we were reserving a lot of dining and entertainment experiences that sold out quickly. I have no doubt there are similar options at DL that we should be prepared for.

We will have our six year old boy with us, so no need for anything "princess" related. The only thing I already know about is the World of Color picnic package.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have!

(also considering flying in a few days early, either to San Diego to see Sea World and then take Amtrak to Anaheim, or into LA and bumming around at the beach and exploring tidepools... little guy loves marine life and animals in general -- so also appreciate suggestions there)

Disneyland is much smaller than DW and doesn't have as many restuarants. Priority Seating resevations cannot be made until 60 days out, so you have a few months before you need to make any reservations. I think the picnic packages can only be purchased 30 days in advance.
