"Nothing exciting, just some airport McDonald's! It was hot and fresh at least."













"And a bonus, our flight isn't full so Ava has her own seat! Can't wait to be in Disney!"

Just finished reading all the updates from the weekend!! Everything looks sooo yummy!!! Good job, everyone!!

I am appreciating the Beach Club Club Level reviews. We are going next week.

Cant believe there are no seats 20 minutes after it opens.

The lounge area is very small. There isn't a lot of seating. My DH usually goes at about 7:20 and grabs coffee and some breakfast items to bring back to our room. BTW, if you don't see something, just ask. You will not see any bottled water, but if you ask they will happily get some for you to take back to your room or to the park.

Let's begin with 1coolnini's update from her dinner last night at the Yacht Club's...













"Bread with salted butter and roasted garlic. Love the garlic. I could've spread it on everything."






"1coolpapa had the Lobster Bisque. Very yummy. (He gave me a bite!)"






"I had the Heirloom Tomato Salad with Fried Mozzarella curds. Honestly, I was considering either the cheese platter or the Caesar Salad but our waitress suggested this. I have to say it is the best thing I have had on our vacation (so far). I think I would've been happy with just the soup and salad for dinner."







"DH ordered the 16 oz. Rib Eye. He enjoyed the steak but was not crazy about the bone marrow. For the most part, his steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare), but after he ate 2/3 of the steak the rest was very rare. So on a scale of 1 - 5 (5 being highest) he gave his steak (rib eye cut) a 5."







"I ordered the Filet. First of all I have to say I am not a huge red meat eater and the only steak I do eat is filet (sorry, but "marbling" is just another name for fat). Anyway, this was NOT the best filet I have had. It just wasn't as tender. You could not have cut this with a table knife. For the most part it was well (medium rare) but a good portion was medium. I only ate about 1/3 of the steak. I would give it a 3 on a 1 - 5 scale. Again, I am not a huge meat eater, so consider the source!"



"We also got a side of mushrooms (no pic). Huge portion but not a lot of flavor."







"1coolpapa ordered the Yachtsman Sundae for dessert."






"I ordered the Peanut Butter and Pretzel Gianduja Cake for dessert. After my disappointment with the steak, all was redeemed with this dessert. It was wonderful."




"All in all, YSH was very good. I will dream of that tomato salad and try and recreate that at home."​

Beef Brewat Rolls - baked layers of thin pastry filled with seasoned minced beef, eggs, fried and sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar


"I thought they tasted like a beef donut, but he loved them!"







Shish Kebab - grilled tenderloin of beef with mixed vegetables yellow rice




"I had the Berber Feast and it was amazing!"









Moroccan Jasmina Salad - mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers in mustard vinaigrette






Roast Lamb Meshoui (Roasted lamb shank), Chicken Kebab and Couscous with seven vegetables

"DD was offered a Kids meal that wasn't on the menu - a choice of either beef or chicken kebab with rice or fries. She got the beef and it was just like daddy's!"

So I have a little sad news..

Corey and I probably won't be able to make the epic Dismeet anymore in December. I still want to try to make it for the weekend but we won't be spending a week anymore. He has to try to find a new job so I don't think he will be able to take off.

However, we have decided to move our trip up to July, so i will be there July 2nd- July9th.

So I have a little sad news..

Oh, that is sad news. I hope you are able to make it, at least for the weekend. I think most of the DISmeet activities are being planned for that Saturday - Monday (Dec. 7 - 9).

But on the positive side, I'm happy to hear that you will be there in July. We are really, really short on reporters in July.

"I've been dying for this sandwich forever and it was wonderful."




"We all shared some Mac 'n Cheese with Ava and it was good.

"Just a scoop of chocolate and vanilla ice cream with some whipped cream shared by all of us since we were so full! It was delicious!"
