I am soooooooo jealous
Seems like AP is a little hit and miss at the moment. Sounds like the food is OK but the service is a little rushed. We hate to feel rushed and like to take our time over dinner. Having entrees deilvered whilst we are still working on our apps is a big no no to us

Hi Linda. The AP posts on this thread are the perfect example of why everyone needs to try a restaurant themselves and sometimes more than once!

But yes, a rushed meal is a bad meal! We had that at Tony's. We weren't a quarter of the way thru the soup when they brought our entrees. They did take the soup off the bill.

And on a side note, regarding the rainstorm they had last night...

And now I'm going to have to stalk Vicki's thread until she posts more details about this meal. I've been wanting to order the tonnarelli but wondered just how much mint flavor it had. It never occurred to me that the entire plate would be green!

It's funny because I don't like mint so I am not sure why I ordered this! But I loved it. Not a strong mint flavor at all. And the burata was wonderful. It was a very tasty meal!

Just got my message for September team

I'll be reporting 9/2 thru 9/8 with my DBF. This will be my first adults only trip...woohoo!! My kids are teenagers and kinda over Disney, but fortunately, my DBF loves it as much as I do. His dad loved WDW and they went there often, but he's not been since his dad passed.

We are staying at WL, and are taking 2 days (our arrival day & departure day) to go to Univeral Orlando. I love it there too, but he's not been in a very long time...like King Kong was still major attraction long...

I'll have a bunch of first that DBF has done in the past that he insisted we do together, like CRT, Citricos, and San Angel Inn. We scored BOG ressies not too long ago so that'll be a first for the both of us.

13 days!! I can't wait!!

I was so excited to just get my Sept team reporter message. My husband and 2 yr old & 5 yr old and I will be doing a spilt stay at GF & BC staying CL in both from 9/18-9/28. I'm excited to see and post the evening offerings! We also have some fun experiences booked such as the pirate Cruise & the Halloween party. I'm mainly a lurker, but, DH and I are taking an adult getaway to celebrate our anniversary and will be there from 10/11-10/17. We would love to help contribute. After all this thread has been a big help in my planning hoping I can help pay it forward.

DH and I currently have reservations at Ohana dinner, Sci Fi Dine in, BOG Dinner, Boatwrights (may change) and Via Napoli

We got our PM and are excited to be reporting 9/6-9/15 from our stay at WL. There will be three of us on the trip: Me (Paul), DW (Melissa), and DD (Allie) who will be almost four. Allie's first WDW trip was last September and we had a ball. We are super excited that after a year of planning for this trip (which we booked as a bounce back to guarantee free dining) it is almost here. Our ADRs are almost all new to us and include breakfast at Crystal Palace and Ohana, lunch at Yak and Yeti, and dinners at BOG, Ohana, Boma, and Akershus. We will also have a couple meals at my favorite WDW restaurant, Trail's End at Fort Wilderness. We have a PTR going that's linked in my signature.
Thanks so much for the great thread. We both check it every day and talk excitedly about the great meals we see here.

I was afraid you would say that. It only makes me feel bad because mom was diagnosed as a diabetic after we got home and now cringes at the thought of eating pasta. (We know she can have things in moderation but she's scared.) She's half-Italian and felt it was the closest she would ever get to the real Italy. Maybe with some good, low-carb pictures from here I can convince her she'll still be able to have something at the Wine Cellar one day!

They have great low carb options like the artichokes and caprese salad among other small plates. They don't take adrs and you can order off the Tutto Italia menu if you wanted.
