Coming for marathon weekend

We're coming for the upcoming marathon weekend, husband and adult daughter...any suggestions on which nighttime Disney light shows we must see....which attractions would be good for 3 adults in all the parks ..also, do you know if you can park in the MGM lot, go to the expo, and come back again without an additional fee? Any infor would be appreciated

Welcome to the Disboards. There is a huge group of people going to the marathon/1/2 marathon that are posting on the WISH events forum. I tried the 1/2 last year--it was a great experience.

As to the parking--I assume you aren't staying on site, since parking at all the parks is free to those who stay on-site. Otherwise, you only pay to park one time a day--just keep your receipt and show it to the parking attendant. If you are going to the Expo from MGM, I believe there is a direct bus from MGM to the Expo and back. If you drive to the expo, be patient--the traffic can get heavy,

My favorite nighttime show is Illuminations.

Make time to see the Osborne Spectacle of Lights while you're at MGM. It is unbelievable. Even my grouchy DH was impressed and returned telling people about it. It will run 6-8PM through the 8th.

If you like fireworks, the Wishes show at MK is delightful, but Illuminations at Epcot can't be beat, either!
