Me and my family decided to visit the fort next july do u think this is a bad time to come to Florida with 4 kids

It probably will be crowded, it wil probably be a little warm at times, it probably wil rain some of the afternoons (not much but some)...but your at WDW and the Fort...Personally I don't think there is ever a "bad" time... We just had our DD, SIL and 2 GC there the first week in August for their first visit. The parks were busy, it was hot and it rained..BUT WE HAD A GREAT TIME....

I see you're from VT... I'm from southern NH, and personally you couldn't pay me enough money to go to FL in the summer, but then again I "melt" when it hits 85. :faint:

Summer time is crowded in the parks (especially for July 4th) and it's Florida - so HOT & HUMID. And you're likely to run into the "daily downpour" but that usually doesn't last too long.

As long as you have a good touring plan and don't mind the heat, there's no reason why you can't have a great trip. :thumbsup2

Hi Tigger821,
Me, DH, DD13, & twin DS8 (we left the DD5 & DD3 they were 4&2 last summer)were there last July4th. It is one of the best times we have had there. The night of the fourth we sat at the beach and watched the fireworks they were beautiful! I hope that you have fun when you go! I also agree anytime at the fort is good.:tinker:

Go on the 4th its the best!! Might be kinda crowded but dam you don't want to be the only one there:)

July and August are great with extra magic hours if you like to stay up late and attempt to sleep in -- which I do.

Can still get in a more than full day arriving at 2pm.

It's never a bad time to be at the Fort or WDW.:)

Totally agree with that statement! :thumbsup2 We have been there at various times over the years (April, May, June, July, August, December) and can say we found ways to have fun no matter what the weather. In fact its hard for me to recall any trip that we didn't have some rain. All it takes is some preparation and planning. For example, we have found that in the summer it seems to rain nearly every afternoon at around 5:00 pm and may last for about an hour. So we make sure we take advantage of the early hours at the park du jour then we schedule dinner around rain time and also make sure we have our ponchos and other rain gear. Rain never stops us from having fun. There is so much to do or see inside to either keep dry or cool off that can make it comfy. Just remember that unless you are in shape to run a marathon you have to pace yourself. Oh and stay hydrated.

Now ask me about being there in the middle of Oct,,,
CAUSE WE'LL BE THERE TOMORROW !!! :banana::banana::banana:

Not really if you prepare and expect the heat. Got AC in your RV? If you got little kids - map out the changing/baby rooms. They have AC and are great place to hang out in for 15 or 30 minutes during the heat of the day.

You will have a great time no matter when you go. it is hot, but Disney provides lots of places with A/C so you will be able to escape the heat when you need too. It will be a great time for enjoying the new pool!
