Coming down just for a night at Disneyland/DCA

Hi Dis'ers,

My family has annual passports and havent really taken full advantage of them. I would like to take the family out tonight and maybe take in a couple shows(fireworks and fantasmic). What would your schedule look like if you were me? I think we will be getting there about 6:30-7:00 pm.

Remember that it's spring break and it's going to be BUSY!!!!

I would make sure that you have dinner before getting to the parks because the restaurants are going to be crowded both in the parks and at Downtown Disney. You probably won't be able to get any Fastpasses, either. I'd suggest going to less busy attractions at DL, like the Tiki Room, or 50 Years of Magic. The line for Buzz Lightyear always tends to move pretty quickly, even when things are crowded. I'd scope out your spot for the fireworks by 8:45, if not earlier...and then head off to Fantasmic! once the fireworks are over - and hope that not everyone else has the same idea! Good luck!

Awesome advice. Anyone have specifics on where to sit to get the best view of the fireworks and then a route that someone could share that would get us the best view of Fantasmic?

Try to watch the Fireworks near the Carnation Gardens stage area so you can exit through the Rancho de Zocalo tunnel into Frontierland. Once you get near the Golden Horseshoe the CM's will stop you and hold you there until traffic from the first F! show empties out. Then you will be able to work your way to the Rivers of America to find spots for F!
