How heartbreaking for all involved. I wish Titus a full recovery and will pray that Ashli's broken heart will heal.... I haven't experienced this (as a mother) yet but can't imagine what you are feeling for your child.

I'm so sorry for all of you. I hope that Titus gets the help he needs to heal. My cousin's husband was over there (he is a Ranger) and lost one of his eyes in an explosion. He told us horror stories of what he saw while he was there and he is in counseling as well. All of our men and women in the military need our support right now, please let Titus know that he has mine.

Oh Keli-I am so sorry for Titus and Ashli-they are so young to have to deal with this pain. I hope that Ashli will learn from it and become a stronger person. And, even though things went badly yesterday, and they are not a couple now, none of us know what the future may hold. With the treatment he needs, once Titus comes to terms with the cause of his PTSD he may be able to deal with other things in his life in a more reasonable manner-even if he and Ashli can not repair their relationship they may reach a point where they can reconcile the pain and be friends again. The most important thing now is for each of them to take care of themselves, to give their hearts time to heal, for Ashli to understand that the Titus she loved is still inside the man he now somewhere, probably struggling to get out, and for Titus to get help to find himself again. I will keep both of them in my prayers.
