Well after taking a year off from Disney I just booked a cabin today for October, we did an Alaskan cruise from Seattle in 2016. It will be DW, DD(7) and myself for 9 nights at the end of Oct. After experiencing the MNSSHP in 2014 and MVMCP in 2015 we decided to do Halloween again. Hoping some other family members will join us as well in the cabins this time.

Good deal, glad you could put it together. We really liked October and hopefully will be able to do it again.

Hoping some other family members will join us as well in the cabins this time.

1) Post, again about 1-month prior to your arrival.
2) People will know better of their plans.
3) January is far to early to check for others.
4) I have a tough time thinking about lunch, let alone 10-months out . . . it's a Senior Thing.

Well what started out as the three of us, myself, DW and 7yo DD, is now up to 14 of us staying in the cabins. In the end my sister and her family will be there along with my brothers family. Our mom and one of our cousins are going as well. Mom can't wait to see her grandkids reaction to it all. Was able to purchase return trip airfare today and in 3 weeks we can book dining.

Can't wait!!!

Wow Jimsig, you must have really sold the benefits of a FW vacation (versus the other resorts).

Ya'll will have a big time I'm sure. The multi-generation and multi-family trips are a blast!

My brother stayed at The Fort years ago with my Aunt & Uncle and one of our cousins, they were both in their 20's at the time, and I believe my sister may have stayed one time as well so it was a pretty easy sell. Having the separate bedroom and all the extra space over a regular room was a big selling point too.

If you wait until later, you would never get a Halloween site at the Fort. Not the biggest time for hotels, but the Fort sure does fill up fast for that week.

Well today is 180 days out!!! So you know what that means? Up early at 6a for ADR's. I was able to get everything we wanted and at the times we wanted!!! With a big group like we will have we wanted to do one or two meals together and the rest was up to each family to decide. As mentioned before we are spending 9 nights along with our mom, but the rest are only staying 6 nights. Also other then the first day at MK and a night at MNSSHP together everyone is making there own plans park wise as well.

So there will be 13 of us at Crystal Palace the first full day for dinner, then 14 of us at the HDDR- I split that up 7 and 7 on line as I was afraid that by 7a when I could call for a large group it they would be sold out an I was right. When I called I told her what I already done with 2 reservations and could they combine or if they had tables for 14 available but had no luck. Hopefully then can seat us near each other or even together. I'll go down and ask Fri night after we arrive and see what they can do a couple days out. Also got a Fantasmic Dining package at Hollywood and Vine, dinner at Be Our Guest, Mickey's Back Yard BBQ, and a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare to name a few others.

Well now what to do as it's a 4 month wait for Fast Pass+ day?
