**HAPPY RED NOSE DAY**

What are your plans for Red Nose Day ? Are you doing any fundraising at work ? or are your kids dressing up for school ?

I've got my Morecombe and Wise RND t-shirt and I've picked my nose :rotfl2: :rotfl2: and no doubt I'll watch some of the show tonight (I thought The Apprentice was good last night ::yes::)

Please take some pics of you and your red nose or your kids dressed up for school

Have a fun day everyone

my kids are getting dressed and reading jokes as we speak ( or type)

you cant tell very well from the pic but they are wearing their clothes back to front !

My DD school is wearing red and white so DD is just wearing one of her normal dress. She was going to wear her Minnie Mouse dress however I think in the end she was to shy.

All 3 kids have got non-uniform days at school. Although the girls' school have got 'themes' for each year, they don't have to dress up so both have opted for normal clothes.

Didn't manage to get any pics before they all left this morning but they have all got their red noses on, Daniel is wearing his signed Spiderman t-shirt and the girls are dressed to kill :)

I am on a Clerks' course today, for my new Clerk to the Governors job so don't think it woud go down very well if I dressed up - I am wearing red, though :thumbsup2

Well I went to uni last night and stood in a lift full of lecturers in their pjs:rotfl:

I'll watch the show tonight, abit limited in what i can do stuck at home. Although i'd love one of the t.shirts.

The girls went to school in Pyjamas today and when I dropped them off all the kids and teachers were all in theirs. It looked really good.

There is a drawing of the outline of Africa on the school hall floor and the kids were all taking in pennies to fill it all in.

I'll be spending the night glued to the telly laughing/crying. I love red nose night! Last time Steve went out so I could relax with a box of tissues but tonight he's in so I'll have to bite my bottom lip when the african clips are on and keep making cups of tea in the kitchen!

I was telling the girls what Red nose day was all about this morning as Maisie was asking why we "celebrate" it. I had to explain it's not a celebration as such but a special day to raise lots of money. Not sure if I went too far telling them a child dies every 13 seconds and we counted to 13 several times - it was very emotional!

It's strange and good to think that this day will be the "norm" for them in their lives - a bit like Pancake day.

I thought the Apprentice was good last night - Alan Carr is one of my favourites!

I will be donating & watching tonight. :thumbsup2 I love the sketches they do but also have to bite my lip to stop myself blubbering as it is so sad too. I can't wait to see the James Corden & the England footballers sketch.

I really enjoyed the Apprentice last night & also the Kilimanjaro climb.

Great pics ladies. :thumbsup2

Great pics girls :thumbsup2 .I will post mine tonight when Hubby gets in(i still can't get the hang of putting pics from camera on2 pc :confused3 :headache: ).
The girls went to school in their pyjamas, slippers+dressing gowns wearing their red noses.Dd7 school had a dance routine going in the playground 2 times+you had to donate to participate. So me+the girls were in the school playground with the children+teachers dancing to Blue Brothers-Shake A Tail Feather,it was so much fun :lmao: .The teachers were dressed as school boys+girls.
I also made cakes last night, for Dd7 school to sell to the children at lunchtime.x.

Oldest DS went to school dressed as a lady. youngest DS went dressed as a red caterpillar, he was inside a red scarf. DD who is 4 went in her party dress, she heard the words "dress up" and insisted that it was party clothes to be worn.

Forgot to get photos though as we were rushing as it is my nephews birthday and he came over for his pressie.

Look!!! I was gutted i couldn't go out and get a t.shirt or nose...but now i'm happy.....

Kyra's school didnt do anything for Comic relief which i found rather odd, though her teachers were wearing red nose tops.

I cried watching the Kilmanjario climb last night, no doubt i'll be trying to hold back the tears tonight.

Not done anything for myself but DD and I spent yesterday afternoon making a silly hat as her nursery were wearing weird and wonderful hats today.

Spent most of this morning finding glitter in the most unusual places.:rotfl2:

Great photos everyone

I've just got back from Leicester, and a lot of the shops were having a 'wear your PJ's to work' day

Enjoy the show tonight :)

Jacks school didn't do anything either it's a shame. He took his red nose in but lost it i got a phone charm but couldn't get it on so it's on my purse instead.
We will watch tonight.

Here's my pics,,,,,,,,,
These are the cakes i made, which Dd7 said sold pretty quick :thumbsup2
