I just bought a pair of crocs to try based on several other threads I've read with people raving about them -- and yes, I swore I'd never buy a pair as long as I lived, but I did buy a stylish Alice version that don't look like wide clogs.
My son loves his Teva sandals and he will likely wear those if the weather is warm enough in early December. I thankfully found those at Ross Dress for less and snapped up his current size and the next size up since they were 1/4 the price of what you normally find them for.
Whatever you do, don't buy brand new shoes and wear them. Break them in first to make sure you don't have any problems.
