Is this the hotel at Paradise Island? If so, what is the cheapest room you can get for a day. If you stay here does that mean you can do all the water slides at Atlantis?

Yes, you may get your armbands right away... You get those at a Kiosk when you enter Atlantis.

The cheapest way to have full access to Atlantis is to rent a room at the Comfort... ( Rooms at Atlantis start at $210.00 plus fees, and older children are charged as additional adults.) By booking online at the Comfort site, the internet rate is $175.50. We recently found a discounted rate (shown by going to placestostay.com and proceeding as if actually booking a room...) We got the LGOLD rate at $136.50 by calling the Comfort reservations 1-800 number directly and requesting this LGOLD rate.

Thank you also Wishing! I was under the impression that the FGOLD special had expired. Had hubby just call and change our ressies. You get no view with that rate (who cares!) and keep in mind that all rooms at Comfort have a $7.50 surcharge per adult. Still an awesome excursion for a great price. Wouldn't get off the boat in Nassau if it weren't for the Dolphin Excursion or Atlantis!

Just reserved room for next March and LGOLD rate is $207 and Internet rate is $207. I was also told that only 4 rooms were left available for each rate. Called Atlantis since these rates were higher than expected and they said NO AVAILABILITY for that date. Orbitz, tavelocity, expedia also show no availability. With just the 2 of us that is pretty expensive!!

The wristbands that you get with the room at CS - are they all the same or are they marked "adult" and "child"? Can I pick up all wristbands (our room allows 4) or does each person have to get their own? I would like to find another couple to share the room if possible or a family with more than 4 that would have to get 2 rooms otherwise. Has anyone done this?

I have a question about booking the CS for the day the ship docks at the Bahamas. If the ship docks at 7:00 AM and leaves at 2:00 PM and check in at the CS is not till 3:00 PM, if you show up there at as early as 8:00 - 8:30 A.M. will they check you in and give you your wristbands? I would probably not even us the room, just want the wristband for the slides.

The ship leaves at 11 pm and I do believe they will let you check in or at least give you the bands even if the room is not ready. At least that is what I have read.

Nosey, there is an additional charge for adults, I believe it's $15 plus the $7.50 surcharge, not sure if the bands are the same for adults and kids. Sorry I couldn't help!

The surgharge for CS is $7.50 pp 16 and over. $3.50 children 12-15.

There is NO surcharge for the wristbands... At the CS, the room rate includes the room, and wristbands, for up to four people. (They seem to be strict about the 4 person limit.)

The small surcharges that you do see when you check the Comfort Suites site are taxes and 'energy surcharge' mandated by The Bahamas for all hotel rooms.

I understand that the Atlantis does indeed have a surcharge for older children... 12 and up??? 16 up?? not sure of the age... But the Atlantis does charge for older children as an extra-adult.
