Comfort Suites Near Universal

We have reservations for the Comfort Suites on Turkey Lake Road about two miles from Universal. Has anyone stayed there before? Is it a decent hotel? Are there inexpensive suites in the area that are better? We haven't been to universal before so any suggestions would be great. Thanks!!

My husband & I brought our family and my brother's family in November to Disney and we stayed ovenight in the comfort Suites across from Universal Studios and have stayed in many comfort suites travelling to and from Disney from New York and have been nothing but impressed with the cleanliness of our suites and rooms each and every time. For us, we will not consider staying anywhere else! We have made the mistake a few times and have stopped in at other places and have left after seeing the rooms. Also Comfort Suites has a frequent stayer program that earn you free nights lodging when staying more than two nights, something you may want to check into... It is called choice priveledges..

We stayed right across the street from the entrance to universal. Maybe a mile walking distance. They did have free continental breakfast, nice pool, hot tub, arcade, gym, the norm. The rooms again were really clean. We had two suites that slept six in each and I think we paid $63.95 per night including taxes per room. The rooms also had a mini fridge, coffee maker, and a microwave.
