does any one have a review of this hotel, we are coming in october for the not so scary halloween party. thanks for any info

if you are meaning the Comfort Suites Maingate East, then we stayed there for 7 nites in Oct. 2007. The suites are actually large rooms, not an actual suite with a separate bedroom. Thety had 2 Queen beds and a sofa sleeper. We had 2 adults and 2 teens in our room, and it was ok, but a little tight. they have a microwave and small refrigerator, and a small cabinet to keep food in. Our downfall was that there was only 1 bathroom. We really need 2. If your kids are little, this may not be a problem for you. They had free breakfast each day. It was a full breakfast with some type of meat and eggs, and waffles each day. They also had all the assortments of muffins, cereals, fruits etc. the pool and hot tub were average. They have a bar by the pool, and one night a few adults had too much to drink and it got a little rowdy. My DD that was turning 18 on the trip went and told the front desk that there was trouble, and they took care of it right away. the drive to WDW was about 10-15 minutes, very easy. And I walked over to Old Town and did some window shopping one day while the rest of my group was napping and swimming. that was a nice diversion. Would I stay here again? Maybe... we stayed on points, so it was free, and well worth that, obviously. I would pay to stay here, if the price was right. No more than $100.00 per night, and maybe not that much if I could find something else. hope this helps you. Have a fun trip!

I think there's 2 Comfort Suites, the Maingate east and the Maingate.I've stayed at the Maingate east and it's a very good hotel,no issues.I've never stayed at the Comfort Suites Maingate so I can't comment.

Hi,
I have stayed at the comfort suites maingate and thought it was awesome, that was in 2006 and we liked it so much we are staying there again this December. What rate are you getting? i got an Orlando magic card and got a rate of $69 per night which I feel is a great value for this hotel. The breakfast is awesome with lots to choose from and we would take extra yogurt, fruit and whatever and put it in our fridge for a late night snack after our day in the parks. the hotel was very very clean even to the point that my husband commented that you could always see someone cleaning something. I highly recommend this hotel, we stayed in the moderate hotel in Disney last year and am staying at the comfort suites instead this year, i just feel it is a great value.

i got a rate of $69.00 per night, at first the internet users rate was 89.00 a night but i called the hotel directly and the girl on the phone gave me the 69.00 rate. so needless to say i jumped on it

Glad you got a good rate. I think you will like the hotel. I visited my mom and sister when they stayed there and they really enjoyed it, especially the free breakfast!
