Comfort Suites Maingate, how is it?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me about their stay at Comfort Suites Maingate? My son's marching band is staying there the last week of March. His dad is going with them and the rest of the family is going down seperate. The rest of the family was going to stay at the POP because a friend is going too and it would be easier for everyone to get around by using Disney transportation. Now our friend may not go and we are thinking of staying at the Comfort Suites Maingate too. We will be there a few days longer than the band. The noise of the kids is not a factor since one of those kids is mine!!

Did you like the rooms? Was it clean and kept up? How was the drive to the parks, any short cuts? We stayed at Sunset Lakes this summer and the drive was very easy.

Is this Comfort Suites Maingate or Maingate east,I've never stayed at the Comfort Suites Maingate but have at Maingate east next to Old Town several times and I have nothing but positives to say about it.

We have stayed at both hotels. It was 4 years ago but both were good hotels at that time

I'm interested in any info also. We have reservations here in Dec.. I'm wondering what restaurants are near by. Are any walking distance?
