wondering if anyone has ever stayed at the comfort suites maingat east and how to get from airport to hotel?

We have stayed at CIME a couple of different times, most recently mid-March and we really enjoy it there. Clean, conveniently located, with a nice pool and complimentary breakfast. It's just off 192 beside Old Town. I would recommend it!

We will be staying there in May - I printed durections from mapquest and it is approximately 30 min drive from the airport to the hotel. hotelmartusa,com usually has good prices for this hotel, check them - that's where I booked.
Also, do a search in the archives on the forum - I remember reading reviews of this hotel here.

I would highly recommend the Comfort Suites Maingate East.
Great location, clean, good continental breakfast, nice pool with plenty of chairs.

Get a price for your dates from www.hotelmartusa.com and other consolidators. Then proceed to www.choicehotels.com and make your ressie. Read the lowest guarantee rate form on the choice website. You should be able to get a ressie at the choice website for the lowest consolidator price minus 10% if you follow the directions at the rate guarantee.

You can do a search for this hotel on these boards and get other reviews and booking tips about the rate guarantee.

I tried to book this hotel from choicehotels recently (for mid-May) and it does not show up as available for this period - it says something like "minimum stay of 99 nights is required" - very strange.. any idea why this would happen?
It's ok for me- I have a good rate of 53$ from hotelmart.

I noticed that also. I did some research and discovered that the hotel is sold out for certain dates the last 2 weeks of May.
If you change the dates to mid June etc., there are rooms available.

We stayed there in August 2001, there was nothin wrong with this hotel. It wasnt nothing upscale but it was clean and very close to everything. I would recommend it.

I did it! I submitted the claim this afternoon and got the rate reduced this evening! Only $48.15 over Columbus Day weekend!!!!! HOLY COW! I'm so excited! That extra savings allows us to get a rental car too. I was hoping to get one because we're going with my toddler, who'll need afternoon naps -- and probably mommy and daddy too. Now if you could only do that with the airfare....
