Tell me all you know about this hotel! We will be staying there Oct 15-20th...free on points!! Can't beat that deal with a stick!!! So, if you have stayed there before, please tell me we will like it! How long is the drive to the parks. If we split up in the morning, and me and DD take the shuttle, how is it? Is it a shared shuttle with other hotels? Any info at all is appreciated!!! TIA!!!:cutie:

I have not stayed at this particular hotel. Be sure to check the reviews board at the top for possible reviews. If I'm not mistaken this hotel sit's next about 3 doors down from Old Town right? It looked okay as we stayed in the hotel next door. Though the 3 hotels did share a shuttle, and often times it was so full people were turned away to find their own transportation.

We stayed there a few years ago and loved it. They have a very nice continental breakfast. It is very close, maybe 5 minutes from the main gates of Disney. The shuttles to the parks were great, however, I would not use the shuttle to Universal if you plan to go there. It is a very long drive with all the stops they make. Things could have changed, it has been a few years.

I would not hesitate staying there again.

We are not going to Universal this trip. The onlt time we may use the shuttle is if DH wants to sleep in, and we want to get to the parks early. We would take the earliest shuttle, then DH would drive our rental car to the parks when he is ready, and meet up with us. We would all just drive back to the hotel together, so no need for the return shuttle.;)

This coming October will be the fifth time we've stayed at the Comfort Suites since 2003. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, the staff are outstanding and the free breakfast each morning is a plus. Location is excellent - only a few minutes from Disney. Upon check-in there was a welcome basket of goodies and a note welcoming us back to the hotel - a nice touch. One afternoon after returning to the hotel to rest, we were greeted by a lovely towel animal that housekeeping had left for us. Our only complaint would be the slow elevators, so if you are able, take the stairs as it will save you quite a bit of time.

We have also stayed on-site at Walt Disney World and we much prefer the Comfort Suites to Disney with much bigger rooms and a price that is quite a bit less than what Disney charges.

We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to our friends and are looking forward to returning in October.

Here are a couple pictures of the room

I was a little depressed at first, since originally I had wanted to stay onsite and use the dining plan, but reading all of your posts about how great this place is has made me feel much better!! I am getting really excited!!! We are doing this trip on a very low budget, free hotel, free rental car, almost free airfare (265.00 total for 4 RT tickets).... The most expensive part is the theme park tickets!!!:scared1: and they are outrageous!!!!
