Comfort Suites Maingate East?

Any recent stays at CSME? Will be staying there for 3 nites at the end of July and wondered if it is still getting good reviews Stayed at CSMaingate in April and thought it was good, but heard that East was better. I would appreciate any thoughts, as we are staying there on choice points and could change it need be. TIA

I think this is the one we stayed at for one night prior to our free dining trip last year. I was pretty nice and the breakfast was good. They try to grab you at the desk to sell you stuff so just say no up front. I do remember that the approach to the place had a pretty yucky place in front but it was far behind the seedy place. Be sure to check out tripadvisor.

We actually have a reservation there this coming October which will be the fifth time we've stayed at the Comfort Suites Maingate East since 2003. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, the staff are outstanding and the free breakfast each morning is a plus. Location is excellent - only a few minutes from Disney. Upon check-in there was a welcome basket of goodies and a note welcoming us back to the hotel - a nice touch. One afternoon after returning to the hotel to rest, we were greeted by a lovely towel animal that housekeeping had left for us. Our only complaint would be the slow elevators.

We have also stayed on-site at Walt Disney World and we much prefer the Comfort Suites to Disney as the rooms are much bigger and the price is quite a bit less than what Disney charges.

Thanks! We are stay onsite during the first part of our trip, but the last few days on Choice points. My mom is coming over from Winter Haven to join us for an overnight and do Typhoon Lagoon. Is there a quick way to the parks besides 192 or I4?
