Review Comfort Suites Maingate East - anyone stay here before?

We stayed here a couple years back. It was fairly close to WDW, had more spacious rooms than we typically expected (suites as opposed to regular hotel rooms that we were used to at the time), the service was decent, and the free continental breakfast really is deluxe - more options than most - often included hard boiled eggs, pastries, yogurt, cereals, waffles, juice, milk, etc. (I can't remember everything, but I remember it impressing me.)

DITTO. Gets great reviews on Trip Advisor. Have stayed there twice. Room was spacious and clean. Big bathroom. A kitchenette area w/ microwave, fridge, table w/ chairs and queen sofabed. Four people easily fit into room w/o tripping over each other. The pool was simple but nice and clean. Breakfast was delish and varied - last time I stayed there, 2007, they had scrambled eggs, mickey waffles, hard boiled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Also plenty of cold items too.

Close to Old Towne - which is a small amusement park - and restuarants.

i am about to cancel or POP resort reservations to this one. I just received an email from Choice Rewards and I received $89/night for a suite plus 2 free nights I earned!
i like the fact we can get a free breakfast too! saves a tad bit on our travel bill.

I just booked a king suite here on priceline for Oct. 29th. All reviews are pretty good.

We stayed here about 5 years ago. The breakfast was really outstanding, much more than the typical continental fare. The hotel was new - the room/suite was great for our family of 5 (kids aged 17,15 and 12 at the time). The only thing I could find to complain about (if I had to) was that the elevator service was slow. We had no problem getting to and from the parks - and we were there during a busy week (Thanksgiving).

Just returned from CSME this week. Stayed for 5 nights and it was great! It had been a number of years since we were there, and the rooms were clean and the pool wasn't terribly busy considering how darn hot it was! lol

Well located and it's nice having Old Town right next door. The breakfast is nice....waffles are awesome and it really helps the budget when breakfast is covered!

Enjoy your stay! :thumbsup2

We stayed there about two months ago...as well as when it was brand new about ten years ago or so...still looks very nice.

Very quick ride to WDW. Nice pool and hot tub.

I have no reservations about recommending someone to stay here.

How often roughly do their shuttle busses go to the disney parks? And do they go to all of them?

It looks lovely but I'm starting to think maybe it would have been cheaper staying in a disney resort afterall all things considered :sad2:
