Just looking for some feed back. Has anyone stayed at the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista? What did you think? One website says that a complimentary breakfast is included, but it's not listed on many other sites that list this property. I've read that people have gotten this thru Priceline, but haven't read any reports. The Orlando Magicard offers a great price, but would like to know a bit more before I book.

Huge basic motel with small rooms. comfortable but no frills....GREAT location though in LBV just outside the East entrance to Disney that comes in at the Marketplace. Priceline bids are 20 to 25/night....

i have stayed there back a few years ago actually triple a recommended it at that time. it was really clean ( which is important) nice pool, food court was clean, everything was nice. have friends that stayed there in may and they said it was remodeled and really clean and it was nice. i have had ressies made for this comfort inn for a year now. i am happy with my choice since my friends stayed there in may, i really don't think you'll be disappointed. they have the shuttles, the pool, food court, bar and game room. the shuttles will take you back and forth to the parks as long as the parks are open. as far as the continental breakfast, i really don't know about that. if the rooms are small ( i don't think they are any smaller then all-star rooms. actually i don't think they're small at all. as far as the price you can't beat it. i have stayed on property and have had the same things that i had at comfort inn. but i paid well over a thousand for it. go have fun i know we will. have a good trip.

Hi, I too am going to stay with my family at the Comfort Inn LBV this Dec. 6-13th. I got the $29/night rate on the hotel website. Having looked over past postings regarding this hotel I was kind of concerned, because about half the people thought it was clean, convenient to WDW and a good value, while the other half described it as dirty, mildewy, and/or mentioned bugs! (It's almost like this place has a split personality!) Needless to say, that created some anxiety. I don't mind staying in basic accomodations with no frills, but "clean" is a big priority for me, followed closely by "not too much noise". Maggie767's post has allayed a few of my fears, but I would love to hear more from anyone else who's stayed here recently. I wonder if there's a certain part of the property to ask for that might have better rooms than others.
Thanks!

I'll be staying there as well when I go to WDW in February. One of my friends whom I'm going with has stayed there the last 6 years and says it's always been good. It seems to be a very standard, no frills kind of place. What more do you really need? I know for us, we just need a nice clean place to sleep because we will be spending so much time in the parks.

how did you get the rooms for 29.00 a night i thought i was doing good getting them for 39.00. i have had my ressies made there since about november and i thought i got a good rate. is there somewhere on the here that i can get into for these prices. thank you for any info.

The Orlando Magicard rate is $35....11.5% tax and $ 2.50 service charge come to $41.53 per night.

Maggie767-I think it depends on your travel dates, but the $29.95 rate at Comfort Inn LVB can be found at their website, www.comfortinnorlando.com. It's under packages as "Orlan-dough from $29.95" and includes complimentary continental breakfast and an Orlan-dough Mega Value Pack coupon book that has alot of "buy one get one free" offers. But I think the $29.95 rate is only for 9/14-10/02 and 11/30-12/18. I plugged in a few other dates and it came up with $39 a night. (That's not including the 11.5% tax and 2.50 service charge that ncbyrne mentioned)
The Orlando Magicard does have the $35 rate for off-peak dates (which are 8/16-11/25 and 12/01-12/19 for the rest of this year) and a $49 rate during peak season, but I don't think that includes the coupon book. The website says free continental breakfast, so I assume you get it no matter which kind of reservation you make, but I'd ask to make sure. Hope you get the best deal available!

We stayed there last week (Sep 13 - 20). The room was clean and the guest service staff was friendly. We didn't use the pool or eat at the restaurant so I can't tell you much about those. The shuttles were pretty reliable. We used them to go to the parks, Downtown Disney, Universal and SeaWorld. Yes, they did offer free continental breakfast.

Ask for a room that faces the parking lot.

A room facing the parking lot? Why? Also curious the type of foods they offer for breakfast. Website says, "deluxe" continental. My guess is pastry of some sort, coffee and juice?

Greetings,
We have stayed there the last (4) years and find the hotel to be clean and extremely convenient to all the attractions in the Orlando area. Yes you do want to request on room on the Palm Parkway side of the hotel because the other side faces I4 and it could be noisy at times. Yes it no frills but we have always felt that by staying at this hotel we could afford to eat at better restauants, shop heavily at the outlet malls and give Disney, Universal & Sea World their due with theme park admission & the extras that go with spending your days in the parks. Free free to e-mail me direct if you would like more information.
