Comfort Inn LBV Special $9 first night

Does anyone know the cancellation policy on this deal? It states it must be booked by May 19, but I am still able to book it for $66 for two nights for Dec.

I didn't finish the reservation since it is looking for a credit card # and I am not 100% sure we are actually going to Florida this year due to DHs work situation.

Thank you

Your card is not charged, your room fee is paid at check-in. If you want to cancel, you must do so by 24 hours previous to your check-in time, otherwise you are charged one nights lodging.

MAN....thanks for this post. I've been watching this particular hotel (and those in the LBV area) for two nights of our trip for November. First 2 nights will be at Nick hotel...Next 2 nights I wanted to keep it to about $100 total (so $50 each night) and I've seen this hotel at $40 per night but only thru Sept. So I was hoping they would expand it to Nov. Next 4 nights would be Gaylord Palms on DH's company since he'll be attending a conference there.

I just checked and my two nights - which are a Fri and Sat (which worried me about keeping to my hopeful budget) - and it is $66 TOTAL - I can't believe it - $33 per night. And maybe we'd even use the shuttle to save on the parking fees.

Now...all I have to do is figure out if DH is definitely going to that conference or not. I'm going to push him now that I have our whole trip planned! Keep your fingers crossed for us!

From their website - it doesn't say what the fee is

High-Speed internet available FREE in public areas and for a flat daily fee in room.

Has anyone here stayed at this hotel? One of the reviews I read talked about BUGS. I would hate to get there and it have bugs.

Not bad, really. I've considered staying here several times, but just can't get myself to book it. I can get some bad allergic reactions to cats & dogs, and I know this place is pet-friendly -- how do they handle this?

Oh, here's the link to check rates at Comfort Inn LBV

Probably a little late for an answer, but one of the buildings is pet free. We requested non-smoking due to my asthma, and the girl at check-in made sure to put us in a pet free building (there are 5 bldgs. I believe.) This was great since dd is terrified of dogs.

Couple of reviews on the 1st page including mine. Stayed in April and would not hesitate to stay there again. I did not see any bugs at all. The room was clean and the staff was very nice.:)

I stayed in May using this special. I thought the hotel was very nice for the price. It is not fancy but the rooms were nice, clean and the micro/fridge were great to have. It is also VERY close to WDW-easy to get to any park and Downtown Disney. Also easy to get to I4 if you are going to Universal or Sea World. The only thing I did not like was you have to be seated for breakfast(I didn't have time for that) and not all rooms are the same.(Some have been updated/some not)

In order to get this great rate, you need two nights. We need the hotel for one night and the rest of my family needs it for another. So, my question would be....Does anyone know if the hotel would allow this "split" to happen? My dad and stepmom would check in on Friday, leave the room key in an envelope for me & my family on Saturday, we arrive at the hotel on Saturday evening (7pm) and then we check out on Sunday..:confused3. Crazy, I know, but just a thought to save some money.

actually you don't have to be seated for breakfast. they may bring you to a table when you get there but we usually filled our plate and just headed back to our room. no one stopped us on the way out ;)

How bad can this place be???? We are park hounds and are never in our room, nor do we really use the hotel pool area.

Just looking for feedback--this deal is still available

I have two rooms booked in December and just wondered if anyone has ever used the Shuttle service?

We will probably be driving down but I really do not want to have to drive around while I am there.

Stayed there 6/21 -6/28. Room was very clean, in very good condition, couple of small chips on top of dresser and the door wasn't brand new were the only flaws I found. Pool area was clean and fairly nice with towels available; entirely adequate for a hotel of this class level. Had a ground level floor on the side opposite the interstate so noise was not an issue. Got a king room which I wasn't aware they had. Found out that hotel was now smoke free (had requested smoking) but was told I could smoke anywhere outside, noticed lots of people smoking right outside their rooms; be aware of this if you're a non-smoker who's bothered by this. Didn't use the shuttles but saw lots of people doing so, they don't share shuttles with other hotels. Even the best of off-site shuttles run rather sporadically, I'd use my car if I had the choice; been there and done the shuttle thing once wouldn't do it again. Also be advised that the pickup points for offsite shuttles are quite a long walk from the parks' gates. The breakfast lines seemed long most days but seemed to move fairly rapidly, I'm not a big breakfast person so I didn't bother.

Stayed there for 2 nights in June. Not a bad hotel. Stayed in b/t our Disney resort stay and was satisfied! Cheap and close to the parks. Lots of good restaurants!!! Stayed in 2 diff. rooms and they were okay. For a budget, I recommend it! Breakfast is busy... but nice to have some free cereal for the kids!!!

We have stayed at the hotel before and just returned from a 5-night stay in June. We had no complaints regarding the room or service from the hotel. Our room request was met which was a ground floor room facing the parking lot. The room was very clean and everything was in working order. I have a bad back and found the bed to be comfortable. We drove to Orlando so we did not use the shuttle service. We like to bring our own breakfast items with us, but my husband did get milk from the continental station each morning and did not have a problem bringing it back to the room. We travel with our dog and since this is a pet-friendly hotel within a short drive to the Disney parks, we will probably stay there again in the future.

We just booked this hotel...hoping for a great room based on the reviews.

Spirit deal still applies as of today.:cool1:

I stayed there in the past a few times for one or two night stays. It is fine. Nothing to right home about but you can't beat the price or location!
Go for it!:goodvibes
