OK - can someone please elaborate more on these comedy shows? we're cruising on the 7 day magic with DS10. what will he enjoy? are they family oriented? any just for adults?

Most of the comedy shows that they have at night are for adults only. I do believe they have "family" comedy shows earlier. There are always different entertainers....some juggle, some tell jokes, etc. They have always been funny.

They obviously tailor their shows to the kids during the family times and to the adults (even though it's Disney, they tell some pretty "adult" jokes) during the adult shows.

our son was nine when we cruised in December. What we did was take him to the early show (right after firt seating of dinner) which he absolutely loved and then at night he would go to the lab and we would go to the adult one. The adult one is innapropriate for children-and very funny.I think we saw several different ones, at least three anyhow.

On the Disney Magic, almost every evening at 7:45 p.m., there are family shows in two or three of the following rooms: Studio Sea (live game shows with the Cruse Staff), Rockin' Bar D (live comedy, magic, or ventriloquism by entertainers from the variety shows), or Off Beat Club (dueling pianos).

One of the very pleasant surprises of our 3/23 Magic cruise was just how much fun these shows were. I had thought we'd have a dead hour between the end of the big 6:30 pm shows in the Walt Disney Theater and our 8:30 dinner seating. Perhaps we'd sit on the verandah and relax. Nope! The little 7:45 p.m. shows were too good to miss!

By the was, the shows are timed so that it doesn't matter whether you have early or late dinner seating.

Horace Horsecollar is right. We were at the dueling piano prior to our 8:30PM dinner and they said that they will get us out by 8:20PM and the did. The show was great and the kids have a great time, all kids jokes and pokes at Disney too!!!!
