Comedy club at PI

Has anyone been there? How long was it? Did you like it? How much is it to get in? We dont want to do any other clubs.. just thought a comedy club might be fun :woohoo:

I am not a "club" person, never have been. We love going to Adventurers Club and the Comedy Warehouse (they are across from each other). The Comedy Warehouse is improve, like Whose Line is it Anyway with Drew Carey. We always have fun there. Adventurers Club has character entertainers who are themed to the setting who put on little shows throughout the evening and then a big grand finale at the end of the night. We really enjoy just going there to relax (it is usually a quiter setting). Here are the schedules for show times (these are from last year, obviously they could have changed so check before you go) and the "Disney write up of the locations":

Comedy Warehouse:
Sunday-Wednesday at 8:20, 9:15, 10:30pm and 12:00am
Thursday-Saturday at 8:20, 9:15, 10:30pm, 12:00am and 1:00am
*not sure the exact length of the shows, but I would say about 25-30 minutes and they are improve so ever show is different*

A warehouse where the tin roof rattles with laughter. The Comedy Warehouse is the stage for some of today's best improv comedians. The warehouse was home to E! Entertainment Television's "Stand-Up/Sit Down Comedy Show," starring Robert Klein. Nightly, the "Who, What and Warehouse" players deliver some of the best improvisational comedy anywhere.

Adventurers Club:
Show times: 8:15, 8:55, 9:45, 10:25, 11:05pm, 12:10 & 12:40am

Interactive comedy with a cast of zany characters set in a 1930's explorers club. You're right in the middle of the fun as the show happens all around you. Chat with a talking mask, wonder at the floating Genie head or maybe see one of the shows in the Library. There's always something-different happening - Kungaloosh

Pricing:
Comedy Warehouse (and Adventurer's Club) are only accessible with the Multi Club ticket which is $22.32 (this includes tax and is for 10 and older).

We love the Comedy Warehouse, it's got to be the best club in PI and worth going to see at least one show. They probably last about 25 or 30 mins and are well worth going to see!

It's usually good clean fun but can sometimes get a little risque. I'd catch an earlier show if you're generally not clubbing type people - at least that way the patrons are less likely to be rowdy and drunk!!

If you don't mind the "drunk" crowd - go to a later show, as with the crowd slightly ( or largely ) intoxicated - the suggestions from the audience definately change quite a bit compared to the earlier shows where most people haven't had much to drunk.

If you don't want to be near the drunk crowd, or are bringing kids to the show - go to the earlier shows.

Everything from the performers are "disney" - if it's from a questionable nature - the wording is still "Disney" - but anything they are hinting towards "Should" be over the head of any youngin's. If the kids understand what they are saying... well.... then you need to take a harder look at your kids. ;)

We visited the Comedy Warehouse about 3 years ago and really enjoyed it. I'd say try it at least 1 time and see if you like it - if so, go back again. Like other DISers said, it is improv so each show is unique in its own way. I recommend going. I've never been to The Adventurers Club, however, we do plan on going when we're down in September this year.. And looking very forward to it too!! :cool1:
