Does anyone know the show times for the comedy club at Downtown disney?
If not, any advice on where to find them? I do need a ticket to get in, right?
TIA

I think you're probably referring to the Comedy Warehouse at Pleasure Island. If so, and you're planning on going to the other clubs, you can pay one price for all of them (~$22) or if you just want to go to one comedy show you can pay a different price (~$10). They run several shows each night and I'm afraid I don't know where to find the times, the shows last about an hour or so, so I think they probably have 4 or 5 shows a night.

From Steve Soares' website. Steve updates his info every weekend:

Comedy Warehouse A warehouse where the tin roof rattles with laughter. The Comedy Warehouse is the stage for some of today's best improv comedians. The warehouse was home to E! Entertainment Television's "Stand-Up/Sit Down Comedy Show," starring Robert Klein.

Nightly, the "Who, What and Warehouse" players deliver some of the best improvisational comedy anywhere. NOTE: This is a non-smoking club.
Sunday-Wednesday 8:20, 9:15 & 10:30pm, 12:00am
Thursday-Saturday 8:20, 9:15 & 10:30pm, 12:00 & 1:00am

The earlier shows are more kid friendly. The Warehouse has no control over what comes out of the audience's mouth tho & it's usually a bit risque. I didn't start taking my son til he was 16, but I have seen younger kids there.
It is Disney, but it's also a more adult venue within Disney.

It all depends on the audience. They are totally improv so they take their cues from the audience. Usually they're pretty clean but the one time we took our son some of it was raunchy. I think you're safer with the earlier shows because people aren't as (to put it bluntly) drunk.

The last I recall, you could not purchase a one-club ticket for either the Comedy Warehouse or the Adventurers Club. This offer was limited to the dance clubs.

It's necessary to leave the club between shows and line up again outside for the next one.

For Comedy Warehouse and/or Adventures Club, you must purchase the MULTI-CLUB ticket, which is $22.32 including tax.

The single club ticket is only for one DANCE club of your choice. It does not work at either of the comedy clubs. You can also use the "Water Park FUN and more package" which is formally known as the "Magic Plus Pack," or older "Park Hopper Plus" options.

With older tickets ( Pre-2005) Park Hopper Plus tickets, you either need to take them to Adventures Club or Comedy Warehouse first(reccomended), or update the tickets at the ticket booth ( takes a couple minutes depending on the CM, as it is a lengthy proccess in the computers ). Once your ticket is scanned at either club, you can go to all of the clubs for the whole night. They changed the system for how tickets are scanned, thus the older PHP+ tickets will only actually scan at the two comedy clubs.

If you are going to be there for multiple nights, your best bet might be the 5-night ticket. It comes to $27.32 after tax, which is only $5 more than the multi-club ticket. This ticket is good for 5 consecutive nights.

Chances are guests aren't going to hear something they wouldn't have a chance to hear on some TV shows. But it really is an adult venue.

At least 2 Disney CM's in 2 different departments told me that the 1 club pass also can be used at either the Adventurer's Club or the comedy club. I questioned them because it says something competely different on the Allears site (which is an outstanding informative site) but they told me that the information posted was wrong.

A friend of mine, who works PI admissions, said that the info TSR6 posted is accurate, that a 1 club pass can NOT be used at either Adventurer's Club or Comedy Warehouse.

Just curious...is the show suitable for kids (pre-teens)? TIA

All the times we have gone, it has been totally suitable for kids but we have always gone to the first show. My daughters enjoy it as much as we do. It is mainly based on what the audience suggests and the players repeat several times that it is a family show-family entertainement and to keep it clean. However I do not know if they do the same thing at the later shows.

How old are your daughters?

They are now 13 and 16, but we the first time we went they were 10 and 13. That time my younger daughter got called on and they asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said the president. So they incorporated what she said in the next skit.

They do, but people don't always listen to them.

Indeed. TSR6 himself works PI Admissions. :cool1:

So, are the comedy clubs included in the park hopper plus tickets(the water and more)? Or do we have to pay additional for that?

Yes. Comedy Warehouse IS included with the Water Park Fun and more Package. One FUN option is the equivelent of a "Multi-Club" ticket at Pleasure Island, so it will get you in and out of all the clubs, all night.

It is also included in older "Park Hopper Plus" tickets.

Also, if you haver the Disney Dining Experience card, you can get a PI All Club pass for 1/2 price.
