65 would be hot over here this time of yearI think we broke the 50 degree mark the other day...
glad he met some new friends. Hopefully the next time he plays he will feel better when running the bases.
I understand why his soccer career stopped. How scary! Hopefully you can find an indoor arena for him. In some ways it is good it does not get too hot here so Trev can play outdoor sports. Last year Trev only missed 3 practices because it was too hot.
Jackie
Jackie, I think the change in weather somehow made me more susceptible to getting sick. I thought it was allergies over the weekend with all our oak pollen. Went to the doctor yesterday for another reason and she gave me an antibiotic because my throat didn't look good and my lymph nodes were swollen. This morning I sound horrible, but don't feel sick.
Starting today we will be back in the 70's so that will be really nice.
I will have him more hydrated and see if that makes a difference with the dizziness.
That's great that Trevor only missed three practices. It must really do your heart good to see him active and running. I hope he can remain active and involved in sports and I hope the tests he's been having will show the heart surgery can be put off a while longer.
LOVE it!! I'm glad you didn't resist.
Hip hop was fun. So glad my head wasn't all stuffed up then like it is now. JJ had to stop a few times and take breaks. He pulled his ham string at baseball practice so every time he stretched that muscle it hurt. He pushed himself though. I'm the one who pulled him out, because his eyes were tearing and he kept on persevering. You could visibly see he was in pain. I'm glad he pushed it, but I don't want him hurting it more.
Yay for buddy ball going well with the exception of the dizziness when running the bases. It sounds like he's already started making some new friends.
I didn't realize that you were going to be taking the hip hop classes too! How fun!
Yes, there are many of the kids from theater in buddy ball, but on the older teams. Those kids can really play too. Alot play baseball in the special olympics.
I had fun in the class. It's a good thing some parents stayed because we were able to work with the kids. I knew most of them from theater but there were alot I didn't know from the community.
This was quite a bit different than the break dancing of the 80's. It was more smooth then, now there was all this popping and my body doesn't go that way, lol.
I went to the doc yesterday. I'm being sent for more tests, and my allergies weren't allergies, I have an infection.
I still have some catching up... But I wanted to say it is great that not only did JJ enjoy baseball- but that he didn't end up missing the episode of clone wars!
Have fun in hop hop!
Yes! He was thrilled about Clone Wars. We let them know at church he will miss Sunday school the next couple weeks, but will be there for children's worship.
We had fun in hip hop. These kids are amazing. They all tried so hard. My friends son beside me kept telling me he couldn't do it. Myself and another mom kept working with him with the hand motions and he learned to do that. He made up his own footwork and he just kept moving and trying. Only my son and another friend's son had to take breaks. The rest kept moving, trying, and smiling. They were having fun.
so wonderful that JJ is enjoying buddy ball! and doing so great with his theater group too! tell him I'm so proud of him!!!
have fun at hip hop today!
It was nice talking to you yesterday on the phone. Hope Megan is feeling better today.
I will tell him. I'm glad he is enjoying it. Yesterday, I went to the doctor. Came home and took him to his voice lesson. Dh and I were so happy to hear that he is able to hit the notes and hit them at the right time. If you remember a couple years back, part of his OT was the interactive metronome and he was so off beat in the beginning. So that made me happy that he is nailing it!
(For those who didn't follow the Done Differently this link https://www.interactivemetronome.com/ explaines all about how tje interactive metronome helps with focus, reading, coordination, speech, balance, etc.)
