Choose your number one choice for a 'nice' dinner (the kind sans the little mouskateers ;) ). If you are really feeling like sharing some magic...tell me what you would order once you were there :)

I voted for none of the above for my first choice would be V&A. My second choice would be the wine room at California Grill. But so many good choices!

This is the 2nd rec I gotten for V&A tonight? Tell me more...

I chose none of the above because I think the best restaurant is Fulton's Crab House. Love seafood, love riverboats, love being on the water, and if you stay out of the crowded part it can be romantic as heck.

Well-V&A would be my first choice also. But it is expensive, the meal takes awhile, and the menu is quite limited.
Of the spots you listed, the most "romantic" would be Palio's, or the California Grill Wine Room. A more energetic dinner can be had in the main California grill area, or at the Flying Fish.
Fact is, all of your listed spots are excellent!

Woo Hoo, three Shula's post in a row. They should pay me!!!! :teeth:

While I like many of the choice in the poll and will be trying the ones I haven't been to yet there is on;y one choice for DW and I. Can you guess??? :p :smooth: :p Shula's is our absolute favorite. Our one must do. It is not necessarily romantic but it is the best steak we've had and we have always had excellent service.

Mitch, I thought you WERE on the payroll!:teeth:

I wish. I'm their best marketing tool on the DIS. Now, a free meal on the 26th would be fair compensation!!! :teeth:

Our (DH and me) favorite place to dine for just the 2 of us is Narcoosees. We like the relaxed atmosphere, looking over the Seven Seas Lagoon at the MK, and the food and the service have never been anything less than stellar. My brother and his fiancee (now wife) turned us on to this... and for that we are forever indebted!

Jiko at the AKL. Had the best meal and best service there on our last trip.

All the choices looked good to me. Too bad you must pick only one.

Flying Fish! It is our favorite restaurant - a must do on any trip!

I would order the crabcakes or mussels for an appetizer. I'm sure DH would order the rare tuna entree, and I would have the signature potato wrapped red snapper, or another special seafood dish. We would also order a nice bottle of wine for our mea. For dessert, the Banana Napolean!

Thanks for your '2 cents worth' ;)

We actually will get to pick more than one :) . DH and I have 1 dinner on our own (before co-workers arrive) and then we will be there for four days total. I am going to to try to make the most of it! ;)

Thanks for posting! :D I wish I could go today ;)

Noone has voted for Palio yet  Anyone want to share some experiences? The menu sounded good, but I'd rather had a good recommendation ;)
