I'm also very impatiently waiting for a room only discount. I've had my tickets since April and room since August.

I know that we are all hoping for deals, but Jan is still far enough away that I'm wondering have they ever come out with last minute deals (room only or otherwise) in late the month before you want? Like for us Jan people, do you think they may come out with discounts in mid to late December? Has this ever happened before?

Just for my sake, I hope not!!! I will be in Florida Dec 16 onwards (checking into Disney Dec 31) and will have NO internet access Dec 16 - Jan 8. I will have no idea about last minute special deals if one did by chance become available .

But for the sake of others, I hope if a room only code is not released this month, then perhaps Disney will release a code sometime in December.
Last year the room only codes for Jan/Feb 2005 came out at the end of Oct 2004. I am not a disney expert, but I can't see Disney releasing last minute discounts.

Perhaps someone who is "code savy" could give an opinion on this!!!!

The newly released code on mousesavers (for florida residents only) is showing values for $64 Jan - Feb 2006.

My ?: Historically speaking, if a general code is released is the price comparable to a Florida resident code?
$64 would be great for a value. I have $63 right now (CAA rate) but still have to buy the CAA membership in order to get that rate at checkin (which increases my per night rate quite a bit).

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The room only code we used for our Feb 2004 trip didn't come out until around Jan 3, 2004. Could have been a day or 2 earlier.

Also waiting for room only discount. Finally gave up and updated my AAA card. Were doing a split stay between the Poly and SOG so can't do the package.I'm not stressing now becouse of updating the AAA card but it would be nice to to get a better deal thru Disney. My DD is in the Marathon. Tina

Playing the waiting game too!!

We're taking my DF and her 2 DS's for the first time ever and I was hoping the room only code would be similar to our last trip for $79. She's on a limited budget as a single mom and was hoping for any savings.

I know, I know, room only codes (like my x-mas bonuses at work) are NOT guaranteed.

Well, Florida residents room only discounts and email pin code room only discounts for Jan 1 - mid Feb are now available so who knows, maybe in a few days general public room only discounts will also be released. But if nothing is released SOON, I think nothing will be!!!!!!

Any thoughts anyone? Have room only discounts been released for FL residents and pin/email codes and NOT been followed by general public ???
