Come Dance the Mardi Gras Mambo 2/28/06 TONIGHT

I want to thank everyone who visited- the party started a little slow but went on from there- And based on MardiGrasMambo's inventory about 30 people visited at sometime during the night- not counting the people who refused to trade with him lol- I had to chuckle at some who started fussing at him for clicking trade without asking- and even if I explained I was giving a gift still got upset lol

I did have one girl come and attend and tell me how insensitive I was to celebrate Mardi Gras (Party Claw) when all that suffering was happening in Louisiana- I thank her for telling me about suffering I've witnessed first hand and explained that Mardi Gras was a ray of hope to most in Louisiana- and showed that things can return to normal again- I think it would have killed the state not to have Mardi Gras it is tied into so much for such a long tradition in many. LOL But thanks to some fellow Disers we explained it to her and basically told her she really had no way of understanding if she hadn't experienced it before.

But thanks to all who came by and danced and ate some king cake or pancakes which I had especially loaded my penny presses with... lol

It certainly helped me pass the evening a little better and by the time I dc'd for the last time during the party things were winding down anyway...

Sorry I was one of the peeps who refused the trade. I did not know it was you. I was typing in a Hello to everyone and before I could even finish, that darn trade window popped up in my face. I said oh nooooo - not here too. And I left the room. I had even changed into my Mardi Gras colored cloths for the party.

Sorry I left but it's just that I'm beginning to really hate that trade window. I wish they would come up with something simular to our guest rooms where you click on allow freinds only. Give me a button to allow trades or not allow trades

I completely understand- most who opened their trade windows greeted MardiGrasMambo with What?!?! lol and then I'd plop in a gift and before I could type happy party claw what get "but what do you want to trade for?" lol

If refused I only pestered a few people with second requests- those were the kids that I knew to be dis kids and/or my friends.

Really it was just a little something- and not a big deal but I do seem to have lots of candles, watercoolers and some pirate thrones now on his character lol... MardiGrasMambo played a few games of fireworks than went shopping for a few items- for the most part what was given was what was next in the inventory...

It was fun and had I gotten back on after my family got home I had planned to go on as MardiGrasMambo and just randomly gift people around vmk- still might but just transfer his loot to another holiday appropriate character lol

I didn't eve noticed that the title was MartyGrawMambo. That's how much I hate that trade window LOL. I guess I should have paid more attention to the name.

For me it's out of hand. I have please ask before trading in my signature but it seams no one reads it. I hardly wear my seagull hat because of the trade requests and now it is the bat magic.

Sorry I missed a good party.
