Come August 13th, WDW will be a mad house!!!

I can't wait to get there on the first day of free dining, but man is it gonna be crazy! Booking a room at any of the value resorts is near impossible. Even the not so popular restaurants are booked up! I'm really looking forward to it, but geez, the parks are probably gonna be crowded elbow to elbow. Also, if it is aything like last August it's gonna be torture with the hot Florida sun bearing down. Can't wait!

I think the resorts will be busier, but the parks may not really be much more crowded than usual. I think more people are just staying onsite instead of offsite to take advantage of the free dining.

Either way...I don't care!! A hot crowded day in WDW is better than no WDW at all in my book!!

The beginning of the DDP last August was not bad. After the popularity, it will undoubtedly be bigger this year. All the southern shcools are in session. The crowds were manageable.

We were there last year for the first week of free dining. It really was not that bad, but it was a week later last year. I hope it is the same, because it was quite manageable. Even if it is crazy, i have adrs and i am in Disney how bad can it be.

Please let the kids mostly be back in school! I am so scared that it WILL be crazy. Got my fingers crossed. We'll be there on 8-13.
