Thanks so much!! It was a nice resort! Very relaxing! I'm trying to remember my first resort...I think it was Fort Wilderness back in the day!!! WOW...that was a long time ago!

Sorry I've been away all, huge project going on here!! More to come very soon!!!

Hello, DD here. Just wanted to say that the disboard menu doesn't list all the dishes at some restaurants and that this is Chef Frank's Seafood Boil, but it is the Prince Edward Island Mussels - Braised with Calina Chardonnay, pancetta, tomato, basil, linguini $27. Not as fancy or expensive, but it was still really good

The allears.net menu was updated in April, so right after we left and has the correct menu on it: http://allears.net/menu/menu_fch.htm

For anyone reading this, thanks for following Moms trip report :goodvibes

Loving this trip report! Lots of great pictures!! I just had to laugh, because I'm from Prince Edward Island and this is the first time I've actually seen the PEI mussels in a trip report!

Hi! I just came over here from the POR board where you posted those lovely pictures! And I realized that I had subscribed to your TR thread a long time ago. Now I am going to go back and read it again, enjoying all of the great pictures. thanks!

Back to this report!! I've had some things going on that have kept me from this report but I can now get back on track!!!:yay:

Our next stop is one of my favorites and a hidden gem at Disney that I feel is often overlooked. Disneys One Mans Dream. This is a wonderful walk through showcasing Walt Disneys Life, the foundation of Disneyland and Disney World and how it all came to be. After the show there is a short movie and every time I watch it I cry..such a sap! Here is some of the attraction and if you have never stopped in before, I would encourage you to on your next trip!

I love One Man's Dream too! I am a sap as well then, because I cry when I watch the movie! :lmao: I didn't go in on my last trip, but I will next time. Hopefully!

I haven't done One Man's Dream on my last few trips. Definitely need to do it again soon!

Okay, I admit that I have skipped One Man's Dream each and every time I have been. HS is just my least favorite park, so I am usually trying to hit the highlights and get out of there. Next time...I promise

To me it is a very overlooked highlight. Love this attraction. the movie is so great and really takes you through Walts life and how it all came to be.

It's my must do every time. Even if I have to go alone:goodvibes

Moving on to dinner. I really feel like Hollywood Studio is lacking in the dining department. Just not a lot of great dining options. So with the opening of several new dining locations on the dining plan, we were headed back to DTD for dinner. This time we were headed to:

You can see the entire menu here:

We were seated right away and had a cozy corner by the window so we could watch all the DTD people hurry around. I can't remember what every one got but here are the photos and descriptions:

Black Linguine with Florida Rock Shrimp - Garlic, tomatoes, asparagus - $24.95

DSC_1001.jpg

Penne Bolognese - Slow cooked beef and pork meat sauce - $18.95

DSC_1000.jpg

Gnocchi - Potato Dumplings with Nonna's Sunday perk ragu - $24.95

DSC_1003.jpg

Ravioli Gigante - A house specialty. Hand crafted ricotta and spinach filled oversized pasta with tomato, basil and toasted garlic. - $19.95

And for desserts:

Cappuccino Gelato - chocolate coffee ice cream - $5.95

DSC_1007.jpg

Chocolate Paradise - Rich chocolate layer cake with chocolate ganache and toffee crunch - $7.95

Dinner was very good. The entire family would head there again. Clean, nice atmosphere and good food. We actually like it better than Fultons considering we only used one credit.

One quick shot as we left DTD:

Your dinner looks delicious!! I don't know that I've ever really looked into eating there. I will definitely have to keep it in mind for future trips! :thumbsup2

It is worth a try if you have not been and you will be on the dinging plan.

loving the report and pics - what kind of camera do you use? Great job!:thumbsup2

Thanks so much! I use a Nikon D90...welcome along!!

Up next we were moving on to EPCOT for the Flower Festival. I've been before but this was the DH and kiddos first time seeing how much work Epcot puts in to make it beautiful. It really is something to see.

Our 2011 trip was the 1st time we got to experience F&G festival at EPCOT. It really is amazing how much work they put into all of the topiaries & flowers planted everywhere. I want some one to do that in my yard....but they'd have to keep it up for me, too. :lmao:

Love Spaceship Earth! Enjoyed the pictures.
