Combining villa Q

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a resort where a studio and 2 br could be connecting?

I am planning a grand gathering but the points for a grand villa are through the roof and I decided a studio plus 2 br would be just as nice but was wondering what kind of configuration we could at least request and which resorts would be best for that? Anyone know? I guess they don't HAVE to be combined but at least next door or across the hall from each other would be best...

nope, not possible. They could be close. Closest will be DVCs with hallways.

Actually, your best bet would be to book both at OKW and request to be in the same building. They might be on different floors, but they will be very close.

If you can register as a Grand Gathering, and make the request that the villas be near each other, you have a better chance that they will be. That's been my experience.

Studios only connect to 1 bedrooms (forming a 2 bedroom lockoff).

We registered as a Grand Gathering for our trip in April. We had two 2 bedrooms and one studio booked at Kidani. When we checked in, our 2 bedrooms were very close to each other (same hallway, one other villa between us). However the studio was on the other side of the lobby and on another floor, not close at all.

The CM at check in was very helpful and though she couldn't get the studio closer to the other rooms for our 1st night, she was able to get us a closer studio for our last 3 nights. The folks in the studio had to check out and check back in on our second day and move all their stuff.

I was surprised that even with a Grand Gathering #, a larger effort was not made at room assignment to keep our rooms close but my impression was that the resort was full and at least they were able to get us all close together eventually. Good luck!
