I have a specific question about codes. I am planning a Disney vacation for my parents' 30th Anniversary, and we are at the 47-day mark today.
I have booked a room on November 16-24, 2008 at the POP Century, preferred room.
We have an Annual Pass and a Disney Visa Card.
I applied the Disney VISA "Free Dining" Code QXZ to our reservation, and the 8-day trip costs $1,350.
The CM said that this was a better discount rate than the AP rate, but I wonder if she was right? (I didn't buy trip insurance.)
She also encouraged me to buy a 1-day Base ticket so that the promotion code would work, even though we have an annual pass. Did I have to do that?
I entered the same information into the Disney website in order to check the price (prior to this post). The Room-only rate online for the same dates at the POP Century on the Disney website came out to $1,179.
I also found the "NYB" Fall code for "Room-only" on the Disney website, and when I priced that out, the same dates and preferred room comes out to $853.
Why is the website showing less expensive rate than what we are paying? I would like to add "Free Dining" to either of these prices.
Can I combine other discounts with this reservation and still get free dining? For example, can I use NYB or any other current code? What can I do? I figured if anyone knew, it would be one of you!
Thanks for your help. I feel like I need a hug and some hand-holding...

Everyone is excited about the trip. It was special to hear my dad's voice on the phone today to call and tell me about how great this trip will be after so many years of not seeing the parks. It just warmed my heart, and I just know that this was the right choice for their 30th wedding anniversary.
