I have read through a ton of posts, but I am still confused about what rental codes/coupons/promos can be combined. I currently have my ressies through Costco (Alamo). On Alamo's website, there are the following 3 promo areas:

I.D./Corp I.D.
Rate/Product Code
Coupon Code

I know that I.D and Coupon can be combined, as that is what Costco does, but what other possible combinations can I utilize, especially, how do the Entertainment book coupons fit into this equation?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am a bit stumped! Thanks, Tiger

I think the Costco code and coupon give you the best rate and obviously it's okay to use them together.

I got the same rate using the Wal-Mart code and the Entertainment coupon. The problem is, supposedly Alamo doesn't let you mix and match like that. There are a few people on this board who are going soon, or are there already, who did the mix and match and are going to report back to us about how it worked.

Personally, I think if their system allows it, the rate should be honored. Unfortunately, I'm not in charge of making decisions at Alamo!

Oh, and the rate/product code usually just fills itself in when I use a code like Costco and their coupon. Even if I enter BY with he Wal-Mart ID# it changes to another rate code by itself.
