Combining points (newbie question)

I would like to make available for rent 60 points which must be used by Feb. 2005. My question is if someone needs more points than that can they combine them with others? How does the reservation work?
I checked the FAQ but I am still a little confused as to how the whole renting process works.

Depends on whether you rent to a member or a non-member.

If you rent points to a DVC member and transfer them into the members account, the member can combine "your" points with his/hers to make a reservation.

If you rent to a non-member, you must make the reservation for the non-member. You cannot reserve partial nights. If the non-member wanted to stay longer than you had points to reserve, he/she would have to arrange for another member to make the reservation for the remaining nights. Either member could request MS to link the resevations together so the renter would not have to move in the middle of the stay. Obviously, this is more work/coordination than renting from only one person.

Easiest for you would be to rent your points to another DVC member and transfer them into her/his account.
