Combining home points?

Unfortunately, no you can’t. If it was two contracts same use year, same resort, you could but you can’t use different resort points to book at the 11 month window.

No, you can't use all your points at one resort until 7 months.

What we've occasionally done is booked as many nights as we can at our preferred resort for that stay and booked the other resort we own at 11 months. At 7 months, we contact MS to see if we can cancel the other resort booking and use its points to add nights.

However, that likely works for us because DH needs a particular type of handicap accessible room. It might easily not be possible for non-HA rooms, particularly a studio. Also, we book the 1br, generally the most often available at 7 months.

As others have said before, no. Just to put it in perspective if this were the case, everyone would buy small 25 point contracts everywhere and then just buy a bunch of points at Saratoga Springs as those would be the cheapest ones. Then they’d go and use all their SSR points at somewhere like BCV at the 11 month mark which would be one hell of a loophole lol.

Home resort priority applies to only points deeded to that resort, regardless of what else an owner has in their membership.

No, but a possible fix is to book the wanted resort for the most popular days (fri. sat, sun) and then book the other resort for the prior or postdates needed. Once the 7 months comes through go in and modify to the preferred resort. If not available, do a waitlist that replaces. Worst case you end up with a split stay, but we have had pretty good luck with waitlist, especially 30-45 days out from trips.

You can always borrow points from next year for resort 1 so have twice as many points at 11 month window (and use less/none at home resort 2) and then the next year do the same for the other resort.
