Combining Annual Pass and AAA discounts on food?

We're planning a trip for our honeymoon in 3 weeks. Already have flight and hotel (Holiday inn across from Universal). We're staying for 7 nights, and really just looking to get the best deal we can. We were looking at getting the 3 park unlimited, but with an annual pass being so close to the same price, we're thinking about that. My fiance is also on the fence about joining AAA. We noticed there is a AAA and an AP discount on food and merchandise in the parks. We were just wondering if anyone knows if we can combine the discounts or will we just get one at a time?

Also, if anyone has comments on the different annual passes, that would be good, too. We have no specific plans to return, though it's only about an 8 hour drive from where we live, and we're trying to vacation a bit more.

No, you can't combine discounts.

If you don't care about black out days and discounts and parking at the parks, then the power pass is great. Otherwise, get the preferred pass. The premier pass includes discounts that are great for those who go a lot.
