Combining ADRs

Heading down as a chaperone on high school trip there are 10 chaperones going, struggling to find ADRs for the group, but can find smaller ones (5 & 5, 6 & 4, etc). So my wife and are making 2 reservations for our group around the same time. Is there anyway to combine our individual reservations and put them together into one party?

You have to go to the podium at each restaurant when you check in to see if they can seat you together - they will try their best, but there are no guarantees.

We are trying to do this as well, but when I book for two people, then try to go and book for two people twenty minutes later ( both available, but no table for four is available) it is asking me to confirm I want to cancel my already booked table for two.
Advice? On MDE we are a family of four....
Thanks

You either have to have someone with a separate mde account book one or go on the website and reserve that way…when choosing the people choose someone else in the party as the “lead” person with whoever will be on the reservation specifically with them…then do the other reservation in your name with the remaining people…I just had to do this for a party of 13 for Hollywood and Vine (luckily was able to get the same exact time for both)

You cannot be in 2 places at once. So you book one reservation for 2 in your name. Then you book one reservation for 2 in someone else's name (your spouse or other family/friend going). That person will now own that reservation if any changes are needed.

I suggest booking the first one in someone else's name, then the second one in your name. If you book the first one in your name, the system will most often not allow you to book the second one at a time that's anywhere close to the first time.

It worked! I had to cancel the one in my name first, even though I had only listed one other person. So we have two reservations for the same time, hoping they can seat us together- fingers crossed!
Thanks so much for the help :)
Excellent! When we have broken our party into multiple ADRs, we make sure that everyone is there 10 or 15 minutes before the earliest ADR time, and we check in with the CM in person, not via MDE, to let them know that we would like to be seated as close together as possible. They will do their best!
