I hope this makes sense, and that someone can give me some advice/feedback.
We (4 of us) have ADRs for Teppan Edo next Sunday, 2/13, for dinner. My cousin who lives in central FL contacted me yesterday and said he would like to join us for our day at Epcot. I absolutely don't want to give up this ADR, as it was probably the most requested meal by both of my kids and DH. However, there is nothing available there for 5 people that evening. There was, however, availability for 1 person at the same time as our current ADR. I went ahead and booked it in hopes that if we show up 15 minutes early, we could have the 2 ADRs linked, and sit together.
Does anyone know if this is a feasible solution? I am hoping/thinking that it may work to our benefit that this restaurant has all large tables, and combines multiple parties at one table. Or, should I give up the hope, and find something else that has openings that evening? (We really need to do dinner vs. lunch. We are not booking any lunches for our trip due to the fact that one of us will likely have to leave during early/mid afternoon with DS3 to take a nap back at the resort)
Edited to add: It really also isn't an option for us to switch days for this ADR. The only other day we will be in Epcot we have ADRs for LeCellier----- which there is NO chance of trying to get a new one there and swapping our days!
