Combining 2 reservations at the same resort

If I have a room only reservation and a package reservation in the same resort will they try to keep me in the same room?

We arrive at POR May 28 for a room-only ressie. Since we are hoping Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be open by then, we don't need another package day because we'll (hopefully) be offsite in the middle of the week. We are hoping when the package starts the next day (May 29) we will be kept in the same room. I asked them to make a notation on both reservations. Is there anything else I need to do?

Yes, they will try. Just remind them at check in that you have the package reservation as well.

On your check out/check in day, go down to the front desk early just to get it settled.
