Ive heard we should avoid the parks on columbus weekend (Sat 11th -Mon 13th) at all costs. We are there the first 2 weeks of october. If we were to do Kennedy Space Centre one day on columbus weekend, how much more busy would that park be, in comparison to other weekends in october?

Would it be quieter at KSC than WDW, Seaworld or Universal!

Any info would be great
Thanks :goodvibes

We were at WDW the first two weeks of October in 2007 and we found it moderate for the whole time, we do avoid the parks at the weekends as a general rule anyway (we swim, rest and shop instead) - a few afternoons at the MK it got busy due to MNSSHP that evening but nothing crazy. Remember at EPCOT you will have Food and Wine which will make the weekends busy with Floridians.
Wishes and Spectromagic tend to be busier as they are less frequent due to MNSSHP.
Just try to make early starts and you'll be fine :thumbsup2
We only did WDW and IoA - we didn't do Seaworld or KSC so I don't have info on those, but I'n sure somebody will.
We were there the first two weeks in May last year also and that time was slightly quieter but there wasn't that much difference.

We have been on Columbus Day twice and both times in EPCOT. We got an early start and ripped through Future World and did all the biggies a couple of times and were on into the World Showcase befor anything built up, forget any easing of the crowds for some rides in the early evening though. You should be fine.

Tinkerbell by busy we are not talking summer busy but busier than normal for that time of year. For instance in the week leading up to it you would expect to "walk on" most rides or wait 45 mins at peak times.Colombus weekend Space etc maybe as long as 90 mins-Now when you have queued for Spiderman for 3 hours (twice!) then even 90 mins isn't too bad!:goodvibes
SD:thumbsup2

But before 11am i bet those q's are no bigger than 20 mins each.
