Columbus Day: What do you think?

I am considering two different weeks in Oct., one would be ending with CD weekend, the other would be starting with it. So which do you think would be busier in the parks (US/IOA/SW): The Fri. and Sat., or the Sun. and Mon. of CD weekend? Thanks!

Unlike other states, Columbus Day isn't an official holiday in Florida, so it won't be too crowded. Banks, post offices, and government offices usually have Columbus Day off.

Do you want to goto HHN?
If so, then you visit Friday/Saturday.
Park has light crowds during the day, but then the locals come out at night. The advantage to spending the extra money for HHN is that the park stays open late into the night.
If you don't care about HHN, then come Sunday/Monday and there will be light crowds. Go here, and everyday where IOA closes at 05:00 or 05:30pm, is a HHN night.

SWF always has lights crowds in the morning, the park fills up in the afternoon, then the tired go home at dinner time.

Thanks for the info. No, we will defininitely NOT be doing HHN. My Dds are 5 and 7, and would have nightmares for weeks! We are actually going to get tickets for MNSSHP at MK one night. The advantage to the first week is that we willl all have the day off to recuperate the day after returning home. We would have to do MNSSHP on a Fri. night, though, which I think may be crowded.
The advantage to the second week is we have two MNSSHPs to choose from, Tues. or Thurs. which I think would be less crowded. But, we will have school and work the day after returning home. Both have their pros and cons, so I figured I would see what everyone thought about the other parks that weekend.
