How bad is it?

Looks like we are re-arranging our original plans and just run down for a weekend. But the weekend I would rather do my mother in law will be in town for my kids birthdays....so that leaves columbus day weekend for us with my current pin code.

It’s defintiely a busy one.

But if it’s your only option set your expectations realistically, book those FPs and get going early.

It’s party season so my advice is avoid MK on the non-party Saturday. That will be a full blown nut house.

We went a few years ago on Columbus Day weekend. Food and Wine is still going on at Epcot that weekend. We went to the Halloween party Friday night and Epcot Saturday. Epcot was CRAZY crowded on Saturday. Food booth lines were 15-20 people deep. We ended up leaving around 7 and going to Beaches and Cream for ice cream. It was much more crowded than we expected. We had a blast, but with the heat and the crowds - we were just done by 7.

Like 10 years ago it was great. Now it's much more crowded. Halloween season. MNSSHP happening. Food & Wine going on. Its totally do-able, but go in knowing there will be people so have a few game plans. And it could still be quite warm so that always adds to it.

I'll be there that weekend for a conference. Got a day to play, plus nights after the sessions. I'm prob by myself so I'll be pretty nimble. F&W is a must at least for a few hours.
