Columbus Day Weekend vs. Veterans Day Weekend

For those who have been at each time, which would you recommend?
Neither is an option, but "another weekend in October or November is not".
It is Columbus Day Weekend, Veteran's Day Weekend or not at all. Arrive Friday night and leave Monday late in the day using DME.

I’ve been during both. Veterans Day weekend was a week long trip. Columbus Day weekend was a long weekend trip. It depends on your past travel I’d say. I don’t recall either being busier than the other but probably because we’ve been so many times we are more laid back in our daily plans. We don’t rush around so we probably don’t notice crowds as much. Not sure if I helped or not.

We are VERY experienced Disney travelers who usually go during President's Week. Once they added all the Run Disney events during that week, the crowds became too much for a relaxing trip.

Our fall break has fallen on Columbus Day weekend a few times, and it IS very busy...but, with planning and reasonable expectations, it's doable AND enjoyable! Can't speak to Veteran's Day weekend, sorry!

I hope the crowds around Veterans Day are lower, but even if they’re at the same level as Columbus Day the weather in November should be nicer. Early-mid October can still feel like summer.

Veterans day weekend isn`t bad at all. We`ve gone the past few years and again this year.
