Columbus Day vs. Presidents Day??

Which is more crowded? Can't decide for our next trip.....

President's Day - no question. According to easyWDW.com, most Florida school districts don't get the day off and it's pretty rare for people to get the day off from work.

Columbus Day falls during many college breaks, plus during Food&Wine Festival AND MNSSHP. Also, it's early enough in the school year that many families don't mind taking their kids out of school for a week's vacation, especially when Disney offers F&W, MNSSHP, discounted hotel rooms, and sometimes free dining.

Besides… we will be in WDW over Columbus Day Weekend 2014 so I'll so whatever I can to try to keep the crowds light!! Seriously… I don't know which weekend is busier- have a great trip!

We've never been President's Day, but have done Columbus Day 4 times in the last 6 years. Trust me when I say that last year's Columbus Day was twice as busy as it was a few years ago.

With the food & Wine, Halloween parties, good weather, etc., October is much, much, busier than it used to be. And, now many schools in states like Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee have fall breaks. Within a few more years, October will be as busy as Spring Break.
