Columbia Harbour House?

So is the hummus sandwich on the multi-grain bread also? Tuna was going to be my pick but now I don't like the sound of the relish...I hate crunchy things in tuna.

Another thumbs up here. :thumbsup2

I like that they have Clam Chowder-just for something different if nothing else, and it hits the spot for me. Then somebody gets the fish, someone the chicken strips or the tuna and we kind of share...its a nice change from burgers.

This is how I describe the tuna sandwich, amazing whole grain bread with a really fresh tomato and lettuce. The tuna had celery in it, you can see it, they were not processed fine or anything, that was ok with me because I love celery in my tuna. The mayo was Hellman's like, not the tangy taste of Miracle Whip. There wasnt any onion taste nor any onions that I could see in the tuna and I love onions in my tuna. There was sweet pickle relish in the tuna, the taste is very prominent.

Here is a pic for ya'll

We LOVE CHH!! We've already eaten there twice in the same trip. If you go around 3pm the upstairs is empty - and you can see a little of the 3pm parade from the windows. I also enjoy watching the line for HM from upstairs as well.

Thank you for the tuna review :wizard:
But..........UGH!!! I don't like celery or pickle relish. I'm gonna have to re-think our lunch at CHH because I was planning on having the tuna sandwich.

Any reviews on the fried fish? I really like the fish and chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in Epcot, how does it compare to their fish???

Is this place any good for just a CS restuarant? I was looking at the menu and noticed they have a Tuna Fish Salad sandwich.....any advice/reviews would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks guys:thumbsup2

Just back from Disney. Ate at CHH 2 x's . Had the tuna sandwhich both times. Also ate there in April and had the tuna sandwhich. I loved it:thumbsup2

Anyone have a photo of that yummy sounding hummus sandwich?

I think we'll be trying CHH on our trip at the end of this month. I'm not much into seafood, but I can get the chicken. The sound of the upstairs dining to get away from the hustle and bustle makes CHH the most inviting.

A few of you have said that the Anchors Aweigh tuna sandwich has pickle relish in it - which has made a few others say they won't try it - I HATE HATE HATE pickle relish - and have had the Anchors Aweigh sandwich 3 times - and never tasted it! I wonder if it's not in all the time, or if it's just very light (and maybe I was starving & didn't realize it!)

My Mom got it last time we were there and liked it, I did too when I tried some. I haven't tried the fish shop in Epcot yet (although I plan too!) so I can't compare. But I am from New England and grew up on Cape Cod and I thought it was good fish!

The best part about CHH is that it provides a quiet haven from the crazy, crowded, hot MK.:cloud9: I thought the food was so-so, but like I said that isn't the main draw of CHH IMHO.:goodvibes

Wow I didn't even know that or taste it. I like pickles but not mixed in with the tuna & I don't like relish at all. And I consider myself a very picky plain eater.

I'm so confuzzled now! I guess the only thing to do is to go try it for myself. If I don't like it I can always go get a funnel cake at Sleepy Hallow to make up for it!

Good to hear! I'm from NE as well.

CHH is DS17's favorite CS in MK. (Could I put any more acronyms in that sentence? ;) )

I don't like celery in anything, but I tried this sandwich last November and I enjoyed it, so it must be tasty because I don't remember being turned off by the celery. :thumbsup2

We ended up eating at CHH three times this trip after never having tried it at all!!! I have to say that the hummus sandwich is excellent - had it 3 times. They have an excellent chicken salad which my daughter enjoyed and my son ate the chicken chunks. Neither tuna nor mayo will ever pass over my lips!!!:lmao:

Love it! I never knew a tuna fish sandwich could be so yummy!

We tried Pecos Bill's last trip and didn't enjoy it as much as we thought we would. We'll have our MK lunches at Columbia Harbor House from now on.

I prefer CHH, DH prefers Yorkshire County Fish Shop! :rotfl:

I think you really can't go wrong at CHH, it's not the usual burgers-and-fries fast food. They also have (or used to, not sure) vegetarian chili that a lot of people love.

Next trip I'm going to try the tuna sandwich and if I don't like it, I'll go get something else. It's my vacation!
