Is this place any good for just a CS restuarant? I was looking at the menu and noticed they have a Tuna Fish Salad sandwich.....any advice/reviews would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks guys:thumbsup2

My family loves it. It is one of the places that when we found it we had to make a note and not forget about for our future visits. Its a nice healthy choice for CS meals. They still had good kids menu food as well.

We love the Columbia Harbour House and the Tuna sandwich is always my first choice. It is served on a wonderful multi grain bread and it is very fresh.
DH and DS always got the soup and sandwich combo - no longer on the menu:scared1:
They would get a cup of Clam Chowder and 1/2 Tuna sandwich. This will be a challenge on our next trip. I am already stragegizing that they will have to each order a cup of soup and share 1 sandwich. I don't know how this will work on the dining plan, but it is good enough to pay OOP for.
Enjoy

Columbia Harbour House has always been a favorite of my family. The food is very good plus there always is seating available. They have a huge second floor area. We just ate there on our last trip (8/23) and it was great!

I too loved the multi-grain bread that the tuna salad was on. However, I noticed that their newest menu says the tuna salad is served on a bun. Has anyone had it recently who can tell us whether the tuna salad at CHH is now served on a bun, like a hamburger bun, or is still on that multi-grain bread?

Add me to the list of fans of this place! My family ate there for the first time in March, and we liked it so much we ate there twice during our vacation. The tuna fish sandwich is really good. Unless it has changed greatly since we were there, the menu was great and had a lot of options. The clam chowder was really good, too! Like a PP mentioned, the upstairs seating is wonderful. Even though downstairs was crowded, upstairs was nice and peaceful.

We love it! We were taken there on the Keys to Kingdom tour on our first visit to WDW and have made a point to go back at least once each trip. I love the hummus sandwich with broccoli slaw. The best part is that the upstairs is rarely crowded (when we go) and the bathroom up there is usually clean and available.

I tried the tuna sandwich last weekend and it was good and would have been amazing if they did not put sweet pickle relish in the tuna....I hate sweet pickle reslish.

Next time I want to get the chicken blt salad, it looked awesome

As of last Friday it was served on multigrain bread

They make an excellent sandwich with hummus and broccoli slaw. I make sure that we stop there at least once a trip.

Yes, that hummus sandwich is good. I do miss the ham sandwich, but the hummus is an able replacement.

Ha! Thanks for sharing this info because I LOVE sweet relish in tuna salad!! :woohoo:

We went there before..it is a nice place to sit and eat..we ate upstairs by one the windows. I also tried the Tuna and also would have liked it if it didn't have sweet relish...I like my tuna plain lol. OH god thinking about it makes me GAG lol.

They do have good food though...DH liked what he had.

We love CHH too. We went with some relatives that had never been before, but since going with us and having annual passes, they like stopping in there for a quiet meal upstairs.

My favorite WDW sandwich, the ham with broccoli slaw, was at CCH. I'll have to find something else to go with the delicious chili that they serve there. DW confirms the the tuna salad sandwich is really good!

Columbia Harbor House is a nice detour from burgers/hot dogs. I love the hummus sandwich and tuna.

Can someone describe the tuna salad in a little more detail? I prefer my tuna salad with no funny business . . . :rotfl:

So they use sweet pickle relish; that's pretty standard for the South, so I'm used to that. Do they use mayonnaise or Miracle Whip (it's sweet - blech!)? Do they use a lot of whichever they use (another blech!)? What else is in it - celery? nuts? grapes? onion? hard boiled egg? Anything weird I haven't mentioned?

22 years ago and pregnant with my first child, I craved tuna salad like CRAZY, and I didn't even like it. I really thought I was losing my mind, because it grossed me out but still was sooooo good when I ate it. Pregnancy is so weird.

I swear the tuna didn't used to have pickle relish. :sad2: I guess I'll be crossing it off my list too. I just don't understand why they can't offer this as a condiment. :confused3

We really enjoyed CHH! I had read about it here on DIS and decided to give it a try.
We really enjoyed everything we got, but I especially enjoyed the hummus sandwich. The chowder, fish and chips and tuna were all very good!
