OK after seeing pictures of the food from here on the food thread we are thinking of having lunch here but we have no idea where in MK it is. Would someone be willing to tell me CHH location in the park. Thanks

Kathy

Columbia Harbor House is directly across from Haunted Mansion. IT's one of our favorite places to eat lunch.

We do this CS at least once every trip. It's our favorite by far in the MK. And yes, directly across from the HM entrance.

We went through the same thing a few years back when we wanted to visit there for the first time. I knew a general area where the restaurant was but just could not picture it.

It's actually one of our favorite spots at Magic Kingdom -- when you're leaving Fantasyland and headed to Liberty Square, there's an arch-way that you walk under. The building on your left (if you're leaving Fantasyland) is where the restaurant is.

By the way, a trivia question (to which I don't know the answer), if you're standing in that spot, with CHH on your left and Liberty Square in front of you, what is that building on the right -- kind of up a hill?

Looks to me like it used to be an attraction, but now is an "employee only" spot. (Sorry, "cast members only" spot!)

If you eat there, check to see if the up stairs is open. Great view, and usually quiet. Try the Tuna Sandwich. YUMYUM

I'm trying to picture where you're talking about. It's possibly the old skyway loading station.

We walked by CHH on Monday, July 17 and thought it smelled so good, but we had lunch and dinner reservations already. So Friday, July 21 we were hopping around the parks and decided to head back over to MK for dinner at CHH. I thought I knew exactly where it was, so we didn't grab a map. We got lost, I ended up over there by Pirates and the Pirates store. We found it though without too much of a problem. The food was good, it was probably one of our favorite counter services of the week. Since this was our last meal at WDW, we ordered the chicken/fish combo. They were good, and we didn't even get to our chocolate cake. We put those in our backpacks and they ended up smooshed, but I ate on it back in the room anyways. They are rich!!

I'd go back here, it was yummy!

Thanks everyone....now that I know where it is we are going to make sure that we stop in for an early or late lunch one day:)

We always eat at CHH at least twice a trip, yummy fish/chicken and the ham sandwich with broccoli slaw was very good also.
Upstairs is the place to be, cool and usually uncrowded.

You will find good food here. We had lunch there and enjoyed it. It is hard to find.

Yeah, that archway is actually part of the upstairs dining room at Columbia Harbour House. Not many people know about the upstairs dining area so it's very peaceful up there.

I've heard lots of good things about CHH... can't wait to try it in October!

This is the only CS we do in all of WDW(unless I'm the only one eating then I do Pecos Bill's).:earsboy:
